May 26th-The Planets(First Brisbane group to play @ TC's) For the few weeks of TC's opening there were no bands playing just Disc Jockey playing records which did'nt work and the first group in Brisbane to play @ TC's were the Planets who were the top rock n roll group in Brisbane at that time as well as playing @ Birdland on Adelaide Street every Friday night which they had leased it from the council.
